I’m Rudy. I specialize in the repairs that require patience: finding the damaged piece, understanding how the floor was installed and working around material that should stay.
Why I focus on repairs
Over 25 years, I have worked for major companies and taken on challenging flooring assignments. My work includes hardwood board replacement, laminate and vinyl plank replacement, carpet patches and restretching, damaged sections, scratches, gouges and flooring affected by water.
I start by looking at the whole problem. The visible mark is not always the full repair: the locking joint, backing, subfloor, moisture or available matching material can change what is possible.
I speak plainly about the likely result. Older materials can be difficult to match, spot repairs may remain visible in certain light and water damage must be dry before flooring is closed back in.
