I provide prompt removal of water-soaked carpet, underpad, laminate, vinyl and damaged flooring after a flood or leak. Removing wet flooring can expose the area for proper drying and reduce the time moisture remains trapped beneath it.
What I assess
When this repair may be suitable
- Carpet or underpad is saturated
- Laminate is swollen after a flood or leak
- Water is trapped below vinyl or floating flooring
- Wet flooring must be removed so the underlying area can be dried
Matching expectations
I remove affected flooring materials; I do not provide water extraction, structural drying, mould testing or mould remediation. Prompt removal supports the drying process but cannot guarantee that mould will not develop. Those services may require a qualified restoration or environmental professional.
