Wood staircase details
Looking for two parallel metal strips in each wood tread? Send me photos of your stairs. I’ll assess the wood, the layout and the product requirements before recommending an installation.

Suitability first
The wood stays visible around the two strips. For an anti-slip purpose, the chosen product needs an appropriate grip surface. A shiny finish alone does not show how a strip performs underfoot.
Loose treads, damaged wood and unstable railings need attention. Strips do not replace sound stairs, handrails, lighting or cleaning, and no installation guarantees freedom from slipping.

A bright, reflective detail against the wood.
A softer metallic appearance with less visual shine.
A warm accent to coordinate with your stair finish.
These are design options to discuss, not a stock or material guarantee. I confirm the actual strip, sample, grip surface and fixing method before the work is agreed.
Show the full staircase and a close-up of a tread. Include width, depth, step count and your location.
I review the stair condition and discuss strip profile, position, finish and maintenance. A site assessment may be needed.
The estimate follows confirmation of compatible materials and installation requirements. Photos provide a starting point.
Include your city with the request so I can confirm the project location and scope.
